Statement from Superintendent Eric Bonniksen of Placerville Union School District-
"We have put in place a new procedure that every morning, we are walking the grounds and checking for any wild animals. If found, they will be ushered off the school grounds."
Dear Superintendent Bonniksen, Good luck 'ushering' a mountain lion off the grounds of your gun free school zones. I would suggest you handle that task personally.
I should have mentioned, Superintendent Bonniksen's district is located in the same county in which a young man and his brother were attacked by a mountain lion a couple of months ago. The older brother was killed, the younger brother was seriously injured.
Why in God's name were they kicking it!?! Parents need to teach their children to respect things, people and animals.
