Bought an old single wide, 5 acres, set in a spot if forrest, it is on a first rate concrete walk in basement, best most economical place i ever owned. Has a little alcove off the side too, connected to a garage. Very convenient layout. Area its in is very snooty, your considered white trash if you live in a trailer, it sat a long time before i got it, went real cheap, and taxes are ridiculously low cause of it. So cheap i was able to buy it with savings, clean title no bank loan. Best thing i ever did too.
Might work for some. Hard pass for me too.

Once the builder gets the go-ahead from the town, that silly porch will go away and the other four hundred units will go up.
