It was a nice run while it lasted

Memphis Police Department has arrested and charged a man they say stole thousands of dollars from an elderly assisted living resident. 

In October of last year, a power of attorney filed a complaint regarding misplaced funds on behalf of a 96-year-old man.

    As the defense attorney stated: At 96 the old man doesn't need lots of cash. Maybe a little for diapers so the rest was just going to waste, so my client was just helping the economy keep the money in circulation.
