A 'group of people'? Don't they mean a group of illegals?

  1. At one time in the not so distant past, TB was eradicated in the U.S. Thanx JB for putting us in 3rd world status. Another perk of DEI!

    1. That would be considered profiling, racist and/or anti-immigrant. Remember, we are never allowed to say, you know, the thing.

Local teevee news here in CA covered the story with zero use of the word "illegals". They go waaaaaaay out of their way every time! https://ktla.com/news/local-news/long-beach-declares-public-health-emergency-after-deadly-tuberculosis-outbreak/

  6. Tuberculosis is not an acute disease...it's a long term chronic one. It will eventually kill people if something else doesn't get them first but it takes years, usually decades to do so. Makes me question this story.

    1. You mean an outbreak of TB is not worth declaring an immediate health emergency because it may take years to kill?

The article didn't mention illegal aliens so maybe you're on to something.

  7. We are concerned about everyone who might have come into contact with these patients, but we will not tell you the name of the place they stayed. So, if you have been anywhere in Long Beach, please get screened for TB.

  8. I come from a country with phenomenal levels of TB so I know I've been exposed to it, I've had temporary staff that have had TB and cough all over me, if you are in good health and eat well it doesn't generally affect you. If you have it in your nieghbourhood keep areas well ventilated and practice normal hygiene and you should be fine.
