Body camera video shows a traffic stop in Ohio where a deputy had just pulled over a United States Postal Service mail van for speeding at more than 100 mph in a 60 mph zone.
I’ve done over 100 in a Honda Civic and a 1980-something Ferrari 328. The Civic is light, the Ferrari wasn’t made to drive slowly. Breaking three digits in a mail van? For some reason that seems more impressive.
Postal delivery vehicles have no tags, No insurance card. You get a citation in postal vehicle you are responsible for all fines and court costs. Postal service pays on wrecks, striking a fixed object, roll aways, run aways.
Gotta love it. --- According to the traffic report, the van had no plates and the driver appeared to be racing a Ford Mustang.
