AUBURN, Calif. - An officer shot and killed a dog that ran outside from a family home on Friday, while responding to the report of a missing teenager, according to the Auburn Police Department.
A pithily little Glock. Imagine what he could have done using a Thompson sub-machine gun with a 50 round drum magazine. Shit in addition to the family home residents he coulda' wiped out neighbors on both sides
"I’m a little disheartened right now with the police department," said the father. "I’ve always taught my kids that the police are our friends, the police are good people, the police help us, don’t ever be afraid to reach out to the police. I just don’t know how to approach and discuss this situation with them and continue to tell them that because what happened that night didn’t make sense."
Time for the parent to grow up too. Police are a tool, like fire or electricity. They can be helpful, or they can be destructive. Call 911 and, like a box of chocolates, you never know what will show up at your door. Police need to be handled like any other dangerous device; very carefully. Telling your children what this guy told his is tantamount to child abuse and bad parenting. Take you head out of your ass and smell the coffee. Children need to be given rational and realistic advice about interacting with police, not the sugar-coated fairytale version.
Police are like a fire extinguisher. When you need it, it can be a life saver, but either way its going to leave a giant mess that might be worse than the fire. If you have a dog, don't call the police, they shoot them too often for no reason other than they were frightened.
And that's when the unregistered rifle comes out of the PVC tube....
Just sayin'. "Whisper in his ear" from 200+ and then the stainless bore bush, lose the extractor, hit the bolt face with a grinder....chop saw and then the swamp.
Yeah, support the blue! So tired of this crap. Since it was line duty and all that where's the hospital report?

DeleteWhy don’t you make yourself useful for those of us that pay your salary and go change Joe’s diaper.
Can't help but notice the use of the "their" pronoun for the cop by the news weenies.
