Topline: Most hard-working Americans can’t afford to spend $21 to $31 on dinner every day. If they did, they’d likely expect to get steak or lobster for their money.
Yet that’s exactly how much the state of Massachusetts is spending to feed homeless migrants, according to CBS Boston. The state isn’t even getting its money's worth: the meals include spaghetti and hot dogs or rice with a single chicken drumstick.
Why can’t they be given MRE’s? I ate MRE’s twice daily in the 82nd when I spent almost 6 months in the Sinai-clearly, if it’s good enough for our troops, it MUST be appropriate as a temporary meal-bridge for migrants. You could offer two pieces of fresh fruit and a couple of cartons of milk with an MRE (seemingly well balanced meal) and still be way under that $31 threshold….

But if you did that the perverts and criminals in the State House couldn't steal 60% of it.

All that money spent, but most of it likely ending up in some Friend of die Partei's pockets.
ReplyDeleteAt $31 a meal I have to say, "follow the money"....
ReplyDeleteI do wonder why? Why spend this money for people you drag off the street in far off lands, help them get here (with tax dollars given to NGOs) and then set them up? All this with no paperwork required! This does not even address the tax dollars going to the cartels who control our border.
What are the people doing this getting from it? Votes are the easy answer but in the last presidential election they got all they needed by just doing the counting with no one watching.
Follow the money...some liberal asshole is stuffing his and some shitbird politician's pockets with that taxpayer cash as at $31.00 you can do a helluva lot better than hotdogs or fucking spaghetti....
ReplyDelete...some liberal asshole? How about all of them. Mass. became a democrat shithole decades ago. They've long since monopolized the State House et al.
DeleteDemocracy means they can make as much money from govt hand outs as they want. Actually offering value is undemocratic.
ReplyDeletePay them well for their vote. And they will be voting. Or should I say someone will be creating ballots for them. There are a lot of agencies counting on the commiecrats retaining control.
ReplyDeleteWhat do they give homeless vets?
ReplyDeleteCold shoulder.
DeleteUsual politics, give out money to companies and receive kickbacks in the form of campaign contributions.
ReplyDeleteI read that NYC spends $36 per meal for 15,000 illegals. $36 x 3 x 15,000. That's one day. Just on meals. Housing, medical, et al not included.
ReplyDeleteNow you know fedgov has or will reimburse part or all of that.
You also know that fedgov gets its money from taxation. So it's us paying for that. Except it isn't only 15,000. More like 60 million illegals who by law shouldn't even be here.
FTA; "It’s part of 17 state contracts worth $116 million that Massachusetts signed to provide free housing to migrants in hotels and motels through June,......"
ReplyDeleteAnyone care guess where these "migrants" are going to go once the contracts expire in June? Back to the Old Country? I'm thinking that $116 million is going to start looking like pocket change compared to the next round of so-called contracts.
The fun starts when they cut them loose.

ReplyDeleteOur government has hated us for over 40 years, and our financial system has been evil and corrupt for over a century. Representative republic? Don't make me laugh. We give invaders luxury hotels, countless billions to Israel and other foreign nations, and the descendants of the founding stock get a kick in the teeth.
