I've seen guys good enough at that that they get the tire to just lay down. No pushing or trying to keep it in front of you, just bounce it up there and it slides right on.
#10 - My grandmother would put ceramic eggs in the nests in the hen house. It encouraged the hens to lay, and if a snake swallowed one it was the end of the snake. She'd sometimes find the ceramic egg in a snake skeleton a few months later.
