    1. Well, if it were purely an lubeless anal affair, we might forgive him.

    2. Poor judgement, certainly. Although that's de rigueur in Hollywood. But at least he was just using her for the only thing she was ever good for: a warm hole. Still, would've been better if he'd given her an injection of hot lead instead.

    3. I just hope he found a way to keep her from talking!

  2. Oddball in Kelly's Hero's was his best.

  3. I am not sure why Invasion of the Body Snatchers isn’t mentioned. He was an amazing actor and truly embodied each role. He pulled off Odddball in Kelly’s Heroes being so ill that he had to be flown to a hospital. A true talent.

  5. Dead pool. Who's next, Clint Eastwood, Dick Van Dyke, Gene Hackman, Carol Burnett, William Shatner or Jack Nicholson?

  6. Space Cowboys was great. One of my favorite lines Sutherland as Jerry O'Neill:"It's got nothing to do with me. It all depends on the woman and how willing she is to discover her infinite supply of orgasms."
Animal House as Prof Jennings: "Mrs. Milton found him boring too... But that doesn't relieve you of your responsibility for this material. Now I'm waiting for reports from some of you... Listen, I'm not joking. This is my job!" He always delivered. Rest in Peace.

  10. Kellys Hero's my favortie. I saw him in an interview and it wasn't his favorite. He said, "I had like about three lines." Of course he had more than that but he did them all well. "I only ride em, I don't know what makes them work." Time to Kill also comes to mind.

  11. Never, ever even nominated for an Oscar. That stat floored me.

  12. Willie Mays... *and* Donald Sutherland? Boom? Kablammy? Cosmos is kicking my ass. I could barely move for about ten hours after learning of this yesterday. I have been going to this great Russian social media site where I can search "Donald Sutherland" and get a whole page full of choices of his movies... almost every one he ever made... and watch them until the heartache ebbs... sometimes takes many days or weeks.

He might have been the only actor in history whose appearance in a movie could make even the worst stinkers worth the investment of time. Though, most of his movies were just flat out brilliantly conceived and executed. He was right up there with Alec Guinness in my estimation, and the RUSSIANS have been my salvation in these soul-sucking times. Given me uncountable hours with Donald and Alec.

I don't believe I'd've been able to get them here within my means... free... for decades after I will be dead for certain.

  13. I can't believe nobody mentioned seeing his ass in Animal House!

Joking aside, he was a great actor and will be remembered.
