My favorite old vehicles were the ones that were nearly rusted out but still ran like champs. '61 Falcon station wagon with a worn out 6 banger, an 84 Dodge pickup that was nearly rusted out everywhere [drove it until the 4 speed shifter lever broke off] and a 74 Dodge two wheel drive pickup that went everywhere on the farm. Through mud and snow and all the ruts.
