I came outta the holler one day with 8 gal of elderberry wine and a gal of shine. All in Donald Duck orange juice jars. The last of it I mixed a half gal of wine and half gal of shine together. Talk about a stump blower. I sure wish I'd a had one of those fancy glasses to drink it out of.

ReplyDeleteThe lids came about 'cause the bees in Germany hang out at the beer gardens with the herren and dammen.
I need some of those! That would be perfect for when I make my Dill Pickles.
ReplyDeleteDo an internet search for " mason jar wine glass" or "mason jar mug" if yo want one with a handle instead.
