SOUTHAVEN, Miss. (WMC) - A former Memphis cop who used excessive force with his Taser so many times he was called “Taser Face” has resigned from
another police agency for serious misconduct.
Colin Berryhill resigned from the Memphis Police Department before he could be disciplined back in 2020, but quickly found employment with the Southaven Police Department.
Gee who could have seen this coming. When porkchops go rotten you don't cut off the green and black parts and cook 'em, well maybe some do. You toss 'em out.
ReplyDeleteSouthaven was founded by Kemmons Wilson in the early '70s. He was in the hotel biz - founded Holiday Inn.
ReplyDeleteI think it's now the 2nd largest city in MS after Jackson. If you can call Jackson a "city".
I love going to Duling Hall in Jackson for live music, that area is nice and the dinner across Duling Ave has a great atmosphere for lunch..... The roads are terrible though, we make a game of dogging potholes, seriously bad..

Memphis. the taser was probably the only punishment the miscreants ever received. released on bail, free to commit other crimes
ReplyDeleteIs that the most punchable face you've ever seen on a cop?
ReplyDeleteHe was probably bullied as a kid which is probably why he's such a prick now.
DeleteNot even close. Do an image search on Philip Brailsford.

DeleteThat kind of BS will get you shot in Mississippi, cop or not

And buried at the bottom of the article, of course, he has not lost his ability to be a police officer in either state.
ReplyDeleteTHEY ARE ALL BAD.
Business as usual, cops protect and rehire their own. Another pencilneck,
ReplyDeleteb**** face, gamma that got a taste of power and abused every drop of it.
Power attracts the corruptible (Frank Herbert / Dune).

When you're too far out of line for a Mississippi cop shop, you're really out of line.
ReplyDeleteOne can only hope that some Pulp Fiction style medieval ball-gag beat down is coming his way. Squeal piggy.
ReplyDeleteAt least his commute didn't change much. I occasionally have week-long jobs in Memphis. I always stay in Southaven or Olive Branch--they're right across the state line.
