Chicago police have charged an 11-year-old boy with robbing a man nearly six times his age on a CTA train. He worked with a 14-year-old girl to commit the crime, police said.

When I read stories such as this about these young offenders, and yes I realize they brandished some sort of weapon, but why doesn't the adult they are trying to rob or otherwise harm, slap the living shit out of them?
As an adult, I would never allow myself to be robbed by a child, male or female. A good swift kick in the nuts or a throat punch followed by several good hard rib or kidney kicks after they're on the ground should deter them from considering doing anything like that ever again.
Just curios, are there any white people doing crimes in Chicago, of any kind?
