SCHAUMBURG, Ill. (WLS) -- A 55-year-old Schaumburg man is charged with attempted murder for allegedly shooting a tree trimmer on the job Wednesday, leading to an hours-long standoff.
The most troubling aspect of this story is the police overkill response and the misuse of resources- I see this frequently in small towns around here- a single car will be pulled over for some moving violation and three or four cruisers show up-

And if the driver turns out to be or is known to be a sovcit or other class of idiot the officer wants backup if things go rodeo.
