The Sacramento City Attorney’s office allegedly warned a Target store that its phone calls to police for rampant theft could result in a public nuisance charge, according to a report from the Sacramento Bee.
The Bee reports Target stores in the city of Sacramento placed 375 theft, robbery, and shoplifting calls in 2023, with 175 in 2022 and 87 in 2021.

Delete“It’s really drug policy reform that brings us back decades,” said Newsom in a press conference. I’m very concerned about that.”

"Going back decades" is a great way for him to say "it's not my fault."
DeleteToo busy measuring the drapes in the Oval Office.
DeleteIf you can't report the crimes, the crime rate goes down.
ReplyDeleteTarget here's an idea. Turn off your security cameras, then have "security" shoot the shoplifters. After a couple of random shootings the message will get out. Oh I forgot Target are a bunch of French pussies. Never mind.

How about doing your job, Sacramento City Attorney's office? That's what you are there for. Your threat to Target is retaliation. I suspect that's a criminal offense.
ReplyDeleteTime for Target to shut down all stores in the Sac region
