I'm trying to understand the thought process of the camera guy- was it "I'm not the one hitting the nest so why would they sting me?" And they must have been very disappointed when there was no honey to be found- :-(

Back when I was about 13, two of my friends and I were out in the woods and Ray took us to this tree where there was a huge hornets nest. Barry and I went closer to it but Ray stayed back and threw a rock at the nest, he hit it and the hornets hit the ground and came out by the hundreds. Barry and I ran like crazy and jumped in the lake, we then stayed under water just coming up with our lips to breath, we could see the cloud of hornets. within about 4 minutes we heard Ray hit the water, we had to do that for 15 minutes before the hornets left. Neither Barry or me were stung, but Ray got lit up about 6 times.
Stuff like this was pretty normal in the country where I grew up, dares on jumping off high ground into water and all sorts of dares.
On the barefoot wipeout, I've never been so twisted or tumbled as letting my toes drop below the water, it's an instant 30 to 40 mph tumble. I think the worst tumble I ever took was behind a boat that would only go about 30, I stepped off my slalom ski and it went well for about 200 yards, but the speed was so slow that my toes went under the water and I remember laying in the water, my back hurting bad and finally getting back into the boat.
If we wait a little while longer, the gene pool of stupid people will destroy themselves and we won't have to worry about them f-ing things up anymore. Now..... where we will get funny stupid people gifs from after that is anyone's guess.
#2 Perfect example of why masks are not effective even if they were effective. #3 ??? Bad dogo! *nose bap* #7 :Redneckintensifies: #9 The city will have to pay all of his medical at a minimum. There were also numerous unmarked and abandoned postholes that me and other recruits found in the grass while PTing. Mark your trash, especially when it blends in.
# 6. Driving a tractor with a bushhog in some brush along a pasture about 25 years ago I hit a hornets nest.... I jumped off when I saw the swarm and only got stung maybe 4 times, thankfully they were after the tractor... It was a long, slow, pretty strange run so I bid my time before jumping back on... JD
Too many examples of "ya can't fix stupid".
ReplyDeletenumber 6 is just too stupid to live. we have to start cleaning up the gene pool !
ReplyDeleteI wonder how he thought it was a good idea
Delete#7 too.
DeleteI wonder what he thought the upside would be
DeleteThe guy swatting the hornets' nest got away. The guy shown afterwards was the one standing there filming it!

Delete#5- I know I've said this before, but I just LOVE seeing stupid people get hurt. I mean, what the fuck did he think would happen?
ReplyDeleteI think there's oil on the road.
Delete#6- I'm guessing that the guy who got stung is the camera man, not the perpetrator- different clothing/ shoes? Dumb & Dumber-
ReplyDelete#6. Idiot. I’m not the sharpest tac but I know better.

Sadly, the stupid people are breeding faster than the smart people. See Africa.
