A storm went through yesterday afternoon. Lightning blew out power, but only half of my condo. Neighbors above me, all power on. Breakers did not break. Others had some power off, some had all power... We live in a crazy time... GB
The glass shower door exploded. They are designed to break into granules, not shards to you don't get shredded invcase it happens while you are in there.
Emergency call from the power company that a HT wire was out of control and about to melt down. I was on the crew that hoisted that car up there to short the system out and trip the breaker. It was a multi-million dollar save.
There is a road sign in the top left corner, it appears to be mounted to an overpass; car leaves bridge gets caught in cables....did the battery get charged while up there?
#5 - I hate those high speed refrigerator accidents. This was likely a distracted food server on their phone and didn't notice they were nearing the refrigerator when this collision happened. There oughta be a law - think of the children !!
I had #3 happen to me with my favorite straight walled, heavy bottom rocks glass. Stuck it under the ice dispenser in the fridge door, and when the first cube hit, the bottom just popped right off leaving a perfect glass cylinder in my hand!
