A man playing soccer on a Volusia County beach was injured when he was struck by a person riding an e-bike, according to a news release.
Volusia County deputies said that Logan Knapik was driving the e-bike over the speed limit in outside the traffic lanes on the beach when he ran over the man. Knapik then left the scene of the crash, which happened in May, officials said.
Ya can't hear the damn things and I always thought they liked coming up behind you at a high rate of speed an coming as close to you as they could. There were a lot of them on Maui and they did nothing about them driving on the sidewalks or the grass. Of course 99% were those bun head twerps.
ReplyDeleteThey're a pain in the arse hereabouts, too but no buns. They're generally kids whose "parents" will give them whatever they demand as long as they don't interrupt the beer and TV.
