A man playing soccer on a Volusia County beach was injured when he was struck by a person riding an e-bike, according to a news release.
Volusia County deputies said that Logan Knapik was driving the e-bike over the speed limit in outside the traffic lanes on the beach when he ran over the man. Knapik then left the scene of the crash, which happened in May, officials said.
