This week, the National Association of Scholars (“NAS”) and the Heritage Foundation are sponsoring a panel discussion on diversity ideology in higher education. A number of reports have recently been published on the topic, with most documenting monies spent by state universities on “diversity, equity and inclusion” (“DEI“). The Maryland affiliate of the National Association of Scholars released the most recent such report this summer, but the Virginia affiliate issued one last year, while Idaho, North Carolina, Maine, and Tennessee produced similar documents before that.

Thanks to 60+ years of educational programming and indoctrination excising the critical thinking out of the American kid's brains and replacing it with emotional "feel good" reacting, DEI is here and it's here to stay, unless of course our society is cauterized by Russia & China getting off their asses and launch 1,00 nukes.

ReplyDeleteDiversity has destroyed every civilization that embraced it.
ReplyDeleteThe communists today are using it along side the class struggle to divide Americans from each other instead of uniting against them as the enemy trying to destroy us.
ReplyDeleteI worked for D&B Software where they announced "diversity" initiative. At that time they were the #6 largest software company in the world. Six years latter what was left were a tenth of the employees in a couple dozen small companies in niche markets all paying less than average market salaries.
ReplyDeleteMy next job was with a small Satellite communications company that was on the lead edge of a growth surge. We got big enough that Rockwell Collins took notice and they bought us. Three years later RC decided there were too many white males in management. Five years later RC was bought, cut up into smaller divisions and sold off with over half the workforce getting canned in the process. These are two examples of DEI and what happens.
