Yup. There's signs just north of Fort Collins, CO, about the conditions in Wy. If there's high winds, they always say something about empty trailers being forbidden. Might have a minimum weight too, but I'm not a trucker and don't remember.
Apparently they got tired of the tow services being overwhelmed. Or insurance companies got tired of paying for it. But somebody insisted there be warning signs, anyway.
Hard to say it's Wyoming or not for sure from the picture. It's not like there's any landmarks.
#1 - I'm actually really impressed that he didn't roll it off (read: through) the other side of the pickup bed. I can only conclude that he's done that before. And that therefore, it's probably not his pickup.
#9 Karma is a bitch, you shouldn't have been driving on the closed side of the road. That car isn't coming out for a while and may not ever be drivable again.
#5 - Typical manager type overestimating his own competence. He's probably not even forklift certified, and STILL thought he could "show you how it's done." At least this particular specimen got his comeuppance fairly quickly and undeniably.
Might actually learn something. Not that I'd hold my breath, but there's at least some chance if you rub his nose in it enough.
Do you really think #1 is going to get somewhere in order to worry about unloading? In my young (ignorant) days, used to haul 3 ecology blocks (2x2x6, weigh about 3750 each) on a hay wagon. Until I read the weight capacity of the tires at 1900 each. It's good to survive your youth. Jerry
