"RESPECT MAH AUTHORITAH!!!"

The Todd County, Kentucky sheriff is at the center of a heated confrontation caught on video in Logan County.

A man in a neighboring county says the sheriff showed up at his home and threatened him before busting his lip.

    There is no authority to respect there. He is the Sheriff of a county, where he has authority. He doesn't have that same authority in a neighboring county, nor does he have it on someone's property in that other county.

      Unknown what the law is in Kentucky, but in New Hampshire a Sheriff has authority "from Pittsburg to the Isles of Shoals", in other words, the whole state.

      The Governor can remove him even though he's elected. The State AG can can have him arrested. There are remedies.
