Since the 2000 presidential election, the left has worked to undermine the legitimacy of the Electoral College, labeling it a relic of slavery. No doubt, if Donald Trump returns to the White House while again losing the popular vote, these attacks will be renewed with fervor. In fact, it has already begun as commentators denounce the undemocratic nature of the system. Just last month, the New York Times published a piece trashing the Constitution and asserting that the Electoral College’s only purpose was to protect slavery. These critiques are based on misconceptions and hostility toward the very structure of our Constitution.

ReplyDeleteI think the commiecrats are coming with every lie they can to get rid of the electoral college. Their followers a gullible enough to fall for it. I dont think the cult followers realize if you get rid of the electoral college, maybe 4 or 5 cities will determine the election. Or maybe they do realize it. No one else vote will matter. With the electorial college a state may have 5 billion fraud votes with 3 million voters, but it is still 20 electorial votes no matter how many votes they generate. With out the electorial college those 5 billion votes count.

ReplyDeleteIt was not the electoral college that failed. It was the judicial system that said you did not have standing for contesting the election fraud. Even the supreme court said take a hike. But yet the federal agency US postal service get to play a major part in the election fraud.

ReplyDeleteListen to lefties as they try to explain in detail their warped logic for doing away with the Electoral College, and if you pay careful attention to their yammering and read between the lines, so to speak, instead of hearing their gibberish you will, instead, hear them listing out all the reasons why we do, in fact, need the Electoral College.
