Huh, and the only things I've eaten on either list are the 3 most unhealthiest sandwiches, and it's been years since I've had them.
No, I've never been to Chick-fil-A, not even once.

  1. I've had some of the healthiest and some of the least healthy.
Been to Chick Filla a few times but its such a hassle getting there.
Since the advent of Covid and the rising price of fast food I've hardly eaten any of it in the last five years, probably 3 or 4 times in the last year and only then when my kids grab something for me.

  2. I remember a study like this back in the day, where the all time worst sammich was Quiznos Tuna sub. It clocked in at an eye popping 1400 calories. I find it interesting that there's only a few burgers on the worst list.

It's been a minute since I've darkened the doors of a burger king, subway, or jack in the box. I find most fast food gross these days. The only ones I go to are Chik-fil-a and McDs, but I only go there for the eggamuffin.

  3. I avoid most fast food sandwiches, especially McDonalds and Burger King - both the restaurants and help around are disgusting. I do get Chick-Fil-A about once a week, the standard chicken sandwich with pepperjack cheese, which is fairly tolerable for a quick and easy lunch.

  4. I have an acquaintance that works in pest control and has many of these companies as clients. They're all infested with roaches & flies. I can make my own unhealthy sammiches in a much cleaner environment thank you.

    1. I think all restaurants are infected with roaches, flies and mice. Just how well they control and hide it is the difference between them

    2. He also said that the EPA has diluted the pest chemicals so much that pest control companies make millions while barely making a dent in the "controlling"

  5. If I am going to eat fast food, I am not going for the healthiness. I see I am not disappointing myself.

    1. I can't see the word "healthy" fitting in with any of the franchise fast food places but I know that...

  6. Unhealthy? It's just food. This is stupid food bigotry. It's JUST food. If you're fat eat less of it, if you're thin eat more of it. It's all just food.

  7. Firehouse Subs huh? Only one I know of is in Portland. Going to Portland for healthy food is not worth risking your life over. A Burger King or Big Mac's 20 miles away from Portland is much safer.

  8. Have had the basic Chik-fil-A chicken sandwich a couple of times. Not that impressed. Frankly, the Popeyes chicken sandwich is much better. But nothing on those lists are very good for you.

  9. I'm not much of a fast food eater but if I do it's usually Subway... I can usually get in, get my order and get out quickly there and that's why I'm eating fast food... All the rest of that is just crap in my opinion

  10. When the brothers started shooting each other over the spicey chicken sandwich at Popeye's I had to give it a go. Wasn't worth the risk and the bun sent my blood sugar thru the roof.

  11. The only ones I have eaten in the past 20 years are the Firehouse Sub sandwiches, and thats been 2 years. Wife has dietary needs that they meet with a smile and the pickle buckets are excellent and sturdy.

  12. Worked at McD's when I was young. When they opened one near me recently I thought I would go try a Big Mac just for old times sake. It was awful. You would think that their flagship sandwich would at least taste good.

  13. I cant eat any of that stuff anymore. Somehow I've become allergic to soy i get sick as a dog if I have anything contaminated with soy anything. I can do Mexican food without any issues no soy in corn tortillas .

  14. How can Wendy's Baconator not be on the worst list???

Anyway, I can make a BLT with a 1/2lb of bacon at home if i want to be less healthy.

  15. I looked at the list ...
If I'm going to stop for lunch at fast food place and sit down, Burger King (whopper with cheese-onion rings) or KFC. If I'm driving I like Jack-in-the-box (something simple off the value menu), they always give me enough napkins! No Jack's? A Wendy's $5 bag is easy to eat while driving.
It has been some years since I went to Whataburger, I need to find one...

  16. Experts again giving advice using their big brains to tell other people what to do. Fuck off..

  17. I've had McDonalds and I think I ate maybe once at a Burger King. Been many, many years since I've eaten that shit. The smell when driving past or within two blocks of any of them makes me wanna puke. My wife and I make and eat old fashion food so guess it's all unhealthy to some.

  18. Starting a couple of months ago, I have had to drive to a town about 30 miles away for an appointment, and to grab a quick bite to eat I stopped in their local Firehouse Subs, and quite by random choice I ordered the New York Steamer.

Excellent sandwich so I've been ordering it each week when I go there. Surprising to find it's high on the list of healthy sandwiches, so I'll keep ordering them.

  19. If we want “fast” food, we order sub sandwiches from Publix. Fresh baked bread, high quality ingredients, cheaper than the fast food chains. What’s not to love?
