The U.S. is sending troops to the Middle East in response to the surge in violence between Israel and Hezbollah and as the region teeters on the edge of an all-out war.
The Pentagon announced on Monday that 'additional' service members would be deployed to join the 40,000 already stationed in the region along with a dozen warships and fighter jet squadrons.
Making the world safe for DEI?
ReplyDeleteAnother war that has nothing to do with defending our borders.
ReplyDeleteThe outstanding question in every American's mind is:
ReplyDeleteIs President Biden aligning with the Islamists or the Israelis?
The world has already seen him provide a huge amount of arms to the Islamists upon with from Afghanistan; will he provide arms to Lebanon and Syria in a similar manner?
How long before The Squad demand the addition of UN troops to the area?
No entity known as President Biden exists. If you mean Biden the puppet, he's 404. So, both the figurehead and the person are missing.
DeletePlaying both sides. Who would do such a thing? The military industry complex, that's who.
DeleteMy question is, other than ordnance and mil hardware, how are they paying each side?
Sharing intel, sharing use of satellites, etc have greater value than fiat greenbacks.
Israel is our only ally in the Middle East.
ReplyDeleteCorrect me if I'm wrong, but before Israel, we didn't have any enemies in the Middle East.
Literally the first place we went and kicked in the dick after the Brits were Libyan pirates
Delete@Univ of Saigon 68: Au Contraire, sir, Islam has ALWAYS been and remains in a state of war with all non-muslims. See Barbary Pirates and the early 1800s American war against the Barbary states as well as the founding father's concerns about how to deal with them.
DeleteGreat. Let's get in the middle of the conflict to no apparent benefit to America.
ReplyDeleteAlmost he entire history of the U.S. is fraught with other countries not leaving us alone.
DeleteToday, same tune, different dance. The shot caller has changed too.
We need to remember that's not always a very reliable source; Putin just told the world that they do not negotiate with terrorists, and some distraction is needed; it's also just been revealed that the filthy pager attack thing was NOT targeted, and killed no Hezbollah fighters; Bibi chickened out on his trip to NY; the neocons are pretending they're not getting dicks shoved down their throats at every turn.
ReplyDeleteThey're DESPERATE for WWIII. All of them. Don't give it to them.
You gotta be shittin me.
ReplyDelete“Additional troops joining the 40,000 already stationed in the region”. During the debate Kamala said we don’t have any military in a war zone. Huh. Sounds a little fucky to me.
ReplyDeletePossibly but nowadays I wouldn't be sure of anything. The world is increasingly a weird place where what was perceived as truth so recently has become quite malleable. It does feel like we are rushing toward a societal catastrophe of some sort.
ReplyDeleteNV NG is deploying. Other units to follow by next spring.
ReplyDeleteNG shouldn't be involved. That's why we have (had) a US military. But NG may be loyal to the locals when the SHTF, so best get them out of the way.
ReplyDeleteWhen this escalates as it inevitably will, please do not come looking for British troops to help. We don't even have enough to stop the Middle East invading us by small boats each day.
