California - where nobody can afford fuel

A vessel from Hong Kong was stopped and seized in the Port of West Sacramento due to an unpaid fuel bill, federal court documents show.

On Wednesday, the port's general manager said the ship had been released from U.S. Marshals Service custody. Crews returned to work Wednesday evening, loading the remaining 5,000 tons of rice set to be shipped.

  1. What are the odds the Chinese Government "guaranteed" payment?
    Remember, it is the same lying Communist Chinese Government that refused to pay for grain sent to them in the 70s from Canada and the US, saying it wasn't good enough (yet they fucking took it all and ate it.)
    As far as I'm concerned, the West can settle their loans to the Chinese AFTER they pay their fucking bills. Or we can call it even and start over in the New Year.

  2. China does this all the time. Negotiates a price, then renegs upon delivery. Then when the seller is desperate, the agree to a much lower price.
