Funny, he doesn't look Haitian
The Kimball Police Department executed a search warrant at 404 S. Myrtle Street in Kimball Friday. The warrant was obtained after reports that a man had ate a pet cat. Kimball police, with the assistance of the Sidney Police department, Nebraska State Patrol and Kimball County Sheriff's Office, conducted the search and an animal cruelty investigation.

Sorry to be a picky grammar nazi, but "had ate"? Really? And twice in the same article. And, there are so many folks now saying things like "I seen somebody". Schools should get back to teaching fundamentals and skip the ebonics and DEI crap.

Sidney's a little four digit population town out in the panhandle, and it's the 'big city' for Kimball residents. You want Pulitzer award winning writing? It won't be coming from there.
