My friend has a horse farm with BIG BUCK show jumpers. They have donkeys to keep the coyotes at bay. It was surprising to see a $500,000 show horse with a donkey as a full time body guard.
When it comes to defending against coyotes, donkeys aren't mere body guards, they're damn murder weapons. All you need is for them to accept you into their herd and they will protect you as one of their own.
