Police in Orange County are asking for the public’s help to locate two men who allegedly stole thousands of dollars’ worth of jewelry from a woman by convincing her the items were fake.
The men approached the victim at her residence, telling the woman they were looking to buy fake jewelry, according to the Santa Ana Police Department.

ReplyDeleteSituations like this make me think of the line "nice guys always finish last". It's kind of like my Dad's family. Or at least him and his siblings. My grandfather on the other hand, was an abuser. I think he trained them from when they were little to be the doormat. And long after he was gone it was just their way of life. My uncle that got into a car accident and messed up his back for the rest of his life finds out that there was physical therapy and other ways that he could have improved things. All he had to do was do some research or checking around. Oh, I wish I could have known, but oh well. That's how life is. It's the silent generation, you don't ask questions or try to make your life better. It is forbidden.
