The Orange County judge accused of killing his wife in Anaheim Hills last year is still being paid his nearly quarter-million salary, even from behind bars in Los Angeles County.
From the article: "While the California Constitution says a judge facing a felony is ‘disqualified from acting as a judge,’ the law also clearly states that the change in his judicial status ‘comes without loss of salary,'” the Register notes. Only after a felony conviction would he be suspended without pay."
So, although it's pretty sad in this particular case, I'm okay with it. It would be too easy to weed out judges your administration didn't like if you could starve them out with false allegations.
So I left CA in 2017 and moved to Heber City, UT. Worked at the UU. Loved Utah, it hated me as a conservative. Family issues and idiotic state employees made me flee back to CA. Didn’t seem our home in CCC. Made a fortune on my house in Utah. Utah isn’t conservative although the Mormons vote that way. Fuck you John Curtis.

"Innocent until proven guilty by a jury of your peers" is a hallmark of the American judicial system.
