'We're not going to invest in California': Chevron executive speaks out against Newsom's gas, oil supply proposal

After sending a letter to California lawmakers lambasting their decision to move forward with Governor Newsom's proposal to set new fuel storage requirements for oil refiners, Chevron executive Andy Walz warned the company may no longer invest in the state it has served for 140 years.

  1. Good for Chevron and I would take a more proactive approach (as I've said before) and let them know they will start ramping existing facilities down. I'm sure there are some small locations or other things to do in order to send a shot across the bow.
Trouble is, Newsom and the rest of Fresno couldn't care less about dirt people.

    1. They're Commies! Their PLAN is control, chaos, crime, poverty, hunger, a sickly populace, disarmed, fearful, immobile, Proles. They want the digital Stasi, everywhere, especially in your head.
      Do not comply, be sand.

    2. Chevron needs to REMOVE their operations to prevent the Kommiefornia Government from taking over the facilities.

  2. "It's good to hear from them (Chevron), they didn't show up to any hearings," Newsom replied as he walked away.

And Newsom is a greasy 200 pound lying sack of shit. He knows they didn't show up because they knew it wouldn't do any good. They knew he only wanted to hear from them if they sold Pixie Dust that could be used to charge electric vehicles.

If Gavin Newsom is ever elected President, he won't need to be told what to do by the Central Planners to destroy America. He's already proven that by the way he's running California.

  3. When I was in industry and California made some stupid-beyond-belief reg or requirement, I advocated for simply not selling in the state. Never got anywhere: "but it's 10% of our business!" Yeah, and 25% of our costs. JUST DO NOT SELL IN CALIFORNIA. DO NOT COMPLY with CARB, or whatever. No sales, no compliance. In two years, you won't notice the lost sales. Have zero presence. Don't respond to lawsuits (eg, prop 65). Just Ignore Them.

  5. Say NO to the bastards . It is that easy. If GM had told the state of California we will NOT build cars just to meet your special standards , and other auto manufactures followed suit , soon it would have been no new cars in Cali , and how long would that have lasted? Fuck Cali . If people vote with their feet and wallets ,the only ones left will be the illegals and Hollywood pedophiles .
