You might want to stay off your phone in Cheatham County, at least for the next few weeks

CHEATHAM COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — Allegedly inattentive drivers have smashed two Cheatham County squad cars in the span of just 24 hours.

Nobody was killed, but deputies have wondered what it would to take to make people take the issue of distracted driving seriously. Authorities with the Cheatham County Sheriff’s Office shared multiple pictures and body camera footage with News 2 showing the two separate incidents.

  1. This is how the left will fix that problem: "non-distracted driving will be punished".

  2. Not sure about Cheatham but there are other counties in TN where the police lights are so bright they are blinding.

  3. The sorry state of American education appalls me. In the article the writer identifies an officer as "lieutenant Chris Gilmore". In this context his rank should be capitalized. I see such more and more recently. It isn't surprising given that college freshmen have to take courses in remedial English to get them to where they can take college-level English and understand their courses, but it's damned sure disappointing.
