A man in Arkansas who lit himself on fire before jumping over a cliff last week was scheduled to go to trial in January on a charge of rape involving a juvenile, per reports.
The White County Sheriff’s Office responded to Riverside Park in White County after “someone could be heard calling for help in the area below the cliffs,” Lt. Scott Seiders told the White County Citizen.
Darwin was heard to say: "Dammit... so close."

Oh hell yeah, I'd rescue him. I'd just substitute saline for his morphine drip so he can fully enjoy that pain and misery for a long time.

Okay, tough guy. What if he didn't do it? I have known a handful of men falsely accused of this very thing.
DeleteWhat if he lit himself on fire and jumped because he was so despondent after his employer fired him, his wife left him, no one believed him? And he didn't have the fortitude to resist the attacks.
