And they rescued him?

A man in Arkansas who lit himself on fire before jumping over a cliff last week was scheduled to go to trial in January on a charge of rape involving a juvenile, per reports.

The White County Sheriff’s Office responded to Riverside Park in White County after “someone could be heard calling for help in the area below the cliffs,” Lt. Scott Seiders told the White County Citizen.

  4. "Seiders said he had “a visibly broken leg, various impact injuries and second- and third-degree burns over much of his upper body.”

And he's conscious and alert too?
Oh hell yeah, I'd rescue him. I'd just substitute saline for his morphine drip so he can fully enjoy that pain and misery for a long time.

    1. Okay, tough guy. What if he didn't do it? I have known a handful of men falsely accused of this very thing.

What if he lit himself on fire and jumped because he was so despondent after his employer fired him, his wife left him, no one believed him? And he didn't have the fortitude to resist the attacks.
