Fuck you, I work for the government

SAN RAMON, Calif. (KGO) -- A surveillance video has once again solved a whodunit for a Bay Area viewer. An East Bay dad arrived home to find that someone had crashed into his parked car.

At first, he suspected his teenage kids who had been driving it that day. Then, he checked his Ring camera video, and it showed a surprising culprit.

  2. The USPS should have been privatized long ago. There is no reason the government should be involved with mail delivery. The Post office cannot compete with Fedex, UPS, or Amazon.

    1. The article mentions that he did file a police report, but that nothing was done, and implies that the non action was his fault. Nope.
A police report is generally the limit of a citizens' ability to act as a victim of crime. He might be able to file a civil suit against the driver and the USPS as his employer at the time of the drivers' negligent act, but that would be at the victims' expense.

  5. USPS truck ran over our surveyor's wheel on a job site. Had three witnesses write statements to that effect. The Postmaster asked me for an invoice; I received a check 5 weeks later.

    1. In my last town, we had no mail delivery; If you lived there, boxes were free. If just outside city limits, about $60 a month. YMMV.

  7. Starker here,
Standard, hire the dumbest person. It was a slow roll, until he intervenes. He pushes the accelerator and throws it into park. He never took his foot off of the accelerator pedal, and never used the brake. You can here the transmission parking paw "ratchet" sound. Why is it govt employees can do a CFU then just resign, or retire? Then "not my problem". Why don't I get a job, embezzle $30k then quit & say " can't touch me, cause I quit!"? When I was 12-13 my GF said his brakes didn't work, at 35mph he threw it into Park! I said why didn't you turn it off & use the e-brake? I just got a glare.

  8. In case you didn't already know there is a lawsuit against the PO(S) since there is lots of evidence that they were directly involved in the vote fraud during the 2020 election. Seems there were up to 10 million ballots that were delivered to various places across the country with their direct involvement. Right now they are refusing to identify the trucking company and employees involved. There were ordered to release the evidence and they are not complying. And of course records are 'missing' as usual.
