Only a few days remain before U.S. voters pick a new president, or maybe just re-install a previous one, and lurking around in the political tall grass is an issue everyone knows is there, and it might be politically toxic: Guns.
ABC News admitted over the weekend in a headline that “Gun violence” is a major issue despite other election topics, according to gun control advocates. The ABC report offered a “gee whiz” explanation: The “gun issue” has been “overshadowed by a flurry of hot-button campaign topics: The state of the economy, abortion rights, wars raging in the Middle East and Ukraine, two assassination attempts on Trump and the shifting political landscape in which Vice President Kamala Harris succeeded Biden as the Democratic nominee.”
Right, the state of the economy and foreign affairs are interfering with that most important issue of GUNZ!
ReplyDeleteOMG, do something!!1
Kamala has three issues -
ReplyDelete- Abortion
- We capped insulin at $35 for seniors
- I'm not Trump
Everything else gets drowned out while she pounds on the above - especially abortion.
I did. Voted for the candidate who supports the 2nd Amendment.
ReplyDeleteSo you didn't vote for president?
DeleteThe only thing that keeps them from implementing totalitarianism even greater than it is now. No guns. No freedom. It really is that simple.
ReplyDeleteThey cheated in 20’ and 22’. Not much has been done to prevent it from happening in 24’. I voted early, though I really doubt it will make any difference. Just wanted to get one more in before I die and vote democrat for the next century. Eod1sg Ret
ReplyDeleteGlad you voted but I look at early voting as a means to allow them to know how much cheating is needed come election night
DeleteNone of my guns have ever been violent to anyone. They hang around and do nothing unless I or someone I trust picks them up...
ReplyDeleteDemonkraps on the other hand are extremely violent so let's ban them..
