Americans are braced for civil unrest amid scary predictions of 'blood' during Tuesday's knife-edge presidential election, reviving painful memories of recent assassination bids and chaos after the 2020 vote.
Businesses in Washington DC were on Monday boarding up their windows as security fencing went up around the White House, US Vice President Harris's residence, and other key buildings in the capital.
Fights have broken out at polling stations and election workers have prepared for gun attacks, amid a flurry of threats to blow up political offices and other sensitive sites ahead of election day.
Thankfully I live in a 65% conservative white senior community. Yea, the other 35% are retired migrant Libs from the north, but they're too old to cause real problems.

ReplyDeletefunny thing happen back in 2016-17. I knew a few people with the "law' and they told me stories of lawyers with wads of cash to bail "assholes" out if they got taken by the police.
funny thing that. we need/better start pressing these "lawyers" as just who and where the cash is coming from. once we stop that problem, life will get better for the rest of us.
but, either way. I sure some assholes will try and do "something"

Voted early and working from home. Eyes peeled, cars garaged, weapons locked and loaded. Not going anywhere looking for trouble and just want to be left alone. Most if not all of my neighbors think the same way. Suggest troublemakers go elsewhere.
ReplyDeleteI went out and about just to get a look see..... Polling places are pretty busy but nothing unusual happening around here and I doubt anything will... I'll be making another round about 6pm for further assessment

As the Antifa rioters of 2020 attempted to expand into less Antifa friendly territory, in June they moved into Coeur D'Alene, Idaho after a festive night of mostly peaceful burning and looting in Spokane, Washington. Being notified by the Spokane police, the civilian population of Coeur D'Alene and the surrounding countryside responded by showing up en mass and armed. Coeur D'Alene escaped the type of destruction that was common in Washington State.
