Rat meat an Rice. Nummer one chop chop GI. When mamason gave you rice with bits of meat, you did not ask about the meat. What ever was in that bowl was better than C-Rats.
That is why I always carried a bottle of Tabasco Sauce in my TA-50. Put the heat tab under the can of scrambled eggs and ham, add a dollop of the C-Rat canned cheese, heat and eat. You had an 11B20 Cheese Omelet, courtesy of Benning's School for Boys. That was the real Army in 1970.
It actually looks okay to me but I probably spent too much time wandering around in the Orient. I noticed that whatever juice you were drinking would have chunks of whatever the juice was so that probably explains the drink. Probably some kind of fruit/tea concoction. We are used to drinks that are so processed that out orange juice is really orange colored sugar water.

I bet it's a helluva lot healther than what American kids get at school.
ReplyDeleteZACTLY!!!!
DeleteEver wonder why our all so sanitary food system keeps having dangerous recalls?
ReplyDeleteBecause cheap is the key. China owns more of our meat processing than you know, and Smithfield got busted using immigrant children on 3rd shift.

DeleteIt’s the drink that looks disturbing
ReplyDeleteMost disturbing is that they had to label it 'Drink' so that it would not be mistaken for, say, a pint-sized urinal.
DeleteWhy is the drink labeled in English? Are they all bilingual. Maybe we did win that war.
DeleteIt looks like a chunky drinky. WTAF?

I bet their obesity rate for their children is a lot lower.

Way better and healthier than the garbage the government day prisons serve. I'm sure there is no rat, and your cultural bigotry is showing.
ReplyDeleteLighten the fuck up, Karen. It's called humor.
DeleteSimple, you eat it.
DeleteIt’s not bigotry if you’re hungry…
