Instead, Russian President Vladimir Putin decided his response to the U.S-led NATO group firing missiles into the Russian Federation would be to send a message with a multi-warhead intermediate range hypersonic missile.
President Vladimir Putin said, “one of the newest Russian medium-range missile systems was tested in combat conditions, in this case with a ballistic missile in non-nuclear hypersonic edition.” The missile has a range of approximately 3,500 kilometers, below the threshold for the “Strategic Arms Limitation Treaty (SALT), that’s a reach throughout western Europe and the hypersonic message is likely, ‘you have no iron dome system that can prevent this.”

There are no good guys in this mess. Ukraine and Zelensky are corrupt. Russia and Putin are evil. And the criminals running Mordor On The Potomac aren't any better. Having said that it was Putin's decision to invade and attempt to conquer an independent country. One that had formerly been abused and misused by the USSR...for whom Putin had served as a KGB agent. There is no excuse for that action. And having failed to accomplish his goal Putin is now throwing a temper tantrum saying "If you won't allow me to win and instead offer an effective resistance and counter attacks I will use nukes". There aren't any good guys but Putin is the worst of the bunch.
