Got coffee?

A record-breaking rally for coffee prices shows no sign of slowing down, analysts say, with some warning it could take years for one of the world’s most traded commodities to recover.

  1. The coffee I buy has been the same price for very long time. They did a little shrinkflation 10 or so years ago, reducing the number of ounces in the bag. It goes on sale once a quarter or so mostly around holidays for about 25% off so I stock up. I have read stories else where about the wholesale price/producer price jumping recently, but haven't seen it reflected in the store here, yet.

  2. Luzianne Coffee w/ Chickory, vacuum packed. Bought 28 at the start of the scamdemic. Down to 9, time to buy more. No idea of the $$$$ change but am sure it has risen.

  3. coffee is one thing I always have on hand. I keep a lot on hand. and the price has gone up over the last 4 years too. I always pick up a least 3 cans a month when we go shopping.
one thing I learned in the army was when you ass is cold and wet, there nothing like a good HOT cup of coffee to warm you up. well, maybe soup. never cared all that much for soup until doing field problems in winter in Germany. really made a difference I tell you.
you could get one cup of coffee. but as much soup as you wanted. pea soup and rye bread. still like it today on a cold day like today. it's 23 here after the sun came out.
woke up to 18 or 19 I think it was. dave in pa.
