They also love munching down on ticks. Sure, you don't want them in your vehicles or structures, but they're kind of handy to have around to keep the insect population in check.
Raccoons? Yeah, they're destructive little beasts. Well worth a .22
Yeah, and that was a pretty damn nice older F-150 he beat the hell out of, too. Looks like a new bed gate and a camper shell, at a minimum. Hard to tell, but I think he rear ended the vehicle ahead also, and tore up the front end. Man, that really sucks.
#3 After a 100 years why hasn't someone invented a tire to replace air tires? I've seen those plastic things but they don't look practical. Something solid like a rubber ball or sponge.
"Solid tyres" and run flats can make the ride very harsh as they have little give. They were briefly a thing on push bikes about 40 years ago and the harsh ride bent rims, loosed spokes etc ... A tyre pumped up to 100 PSI was luxury in comparison. My brother has a Mini which needed new tyres and the tyre company accidentally fitted ordinary tyres instead of original spec run flats. Even his wife commented on the much quieter and softer ride.

ReplyDeleteThere is a foam filler for air tires, I think it was called Rhino tire treatment. Don't hear much about it, though.
