Reminds me of the son of the guy who took care of lawns in our neighborhood when we lived in Tennessee. The kid (about 20 years old) would run the weed eater around a soft drink can rather than pick it up.
I talked with one of our county engineers as I laughed about a racoon that was painted over on a street near us. He didn't seem to understand why I thought it was funny. It was sort of an "of course they paint over it, what else should they do?" kind of reaction on his part. I had a better reaction whey I told him the southbound lane of a road had one speed limit and the northbound lane had a different speed limit for the same mile of road. Took less than a week to fix that.
Memphis.
