Who throws out perfectly good steaks?

A newborn calf that was abandoned inside a dumpster in the freezing cold now has another chance at life.

Mike Lloyd made what he thought was a routine trip Nov. 13 to take his trash to the dump in South Boston, Virginia, but it was a trip that turned out to be anything but ordinary, WDBJ reports.

  3. People have gone stupid, i watch the free section on craigslist and in the past week i have seen chickens and goats, for free... I must be missing something, too many chickens equals fried chicken dinner around here

    1. Some people won't kill them, only want the eggs from them. I bet a lot of the free 'chickens' are actually all the roosters they can't use.

  4. I've heard of humans leaving babies in the dumpster. It's a sad day to learn that a meth-head cow would also leave her baby in a dumpster.

  6. I dated a girl who had a pet cow, Black Angus, she accidentally picked up a a cattle auction..... She was there with her now ex and nobody bid on that much smaller than normal calf so she ended up with her... Moo Moo grew up to be a normal sized cow that thought she was a dog..

  7. I knew of a guy who went with a couple of friends on a 2-week vacation to drive cattle. He helped deliver a calf on the drive and named him Norman. Later on, the trail boss died and the hands ran off and left him. He and his buddies managed to drive the cattle the rest of the way by themselves. He ended up adopting Norman and taking him home to New York. Oh, wait, that’s just the plot to “City Slickers.l
