Michigan residents will want to make sure they have a star on their driver’s license or state ID by May of this year.
Beginning May 7, 2025, Michigan residents will need to have a REAL ID-compliant document to fly within the United States or enter certain federal facilities.
But yet they let illegals fly all over the country
ReplyDeleteThere will be a box on your airline ticket where you can check it to declare yourself illegal. No ID required at that point.
DeleteInching ever closer to Idiocracy. We'll all be tattooed with a bar code, without which you won't be able to receive your food pellet. You've been warned, America. Submit and die.
ReplyDeleteYou are wasting your time telling people to wake up, Anon. Most Americans are stupid frightened sheep feeding on a diet of daily bread & circus pleasures who think their lives will go on as usual. The Progressive elites are using the "ever so slow" transformation tactic that most people cannot and will never perceive. In the meantime the newer generations grow up believing what we seen as draconian as normal
DeleteI don't think so Scooter, there are some hills worth dying on...
DeleteNazi fucking germany. I never agreed to this bullshit....
ReplyDelete.ever.
Gee, you'd think a CCW permit with a photo would be sufficient considering the background check.
ReplyDeleteLast time I had my license renewed I did the REAL-ID, even though It wasn't required at that time. I did the veteran add-on too. I just had to renew it again. Because I had already done the REAL-ID, I was able to renew online. Didn't have to appear in person. Probably will have to next time. It was painless, took about five minutes online and the new license arrived in the mail four days later. Easy peasy.
ReplyDeleteSome Guy, Somewhere.
This has been bitched about since the Patriot Act and people saying they'll never do it.
ReplyDeleteAnybody who travels by air is required to have a passport ot RealID come May, so most will have the RealID.
Do they require the vaxx to fly still, or did that requirement run it's course in catfishing suckers?
Actually that’s a federal regulation not a state.
ReplyDeleteThe airlines demand to know, intimately, every single person they kill with their DEI incompetence, whether it be incompetent plane designers/builders or affirmative action pilots who manage to get the killin' done. I'll pass but thanks all the same.
ReplyDeleteCan they be used to vote?
ReplyDeleteSo all those people who cant get an ID to vote cant fly. This sounds racist to me. And it is a commiecrat admin making it happen.
ReplyDeletePretend you don't speak English, just repeat the word 'asylum' and they'll move you to the front of the line, put you in first class.
ReplyDeleteI remember yellow star in history somewhere I think.
ReplyDeleteThe reason we in Washington State need RealID to fly is because they refuse to put our citizenship status on our regular driver's license. With that added it would be accepted by the Feds.
ReplyDeleteAll this BS with Real ID. Get a flipping passport. The US State Department vets your docs, and you can travel internationally as well as domestically. Added bonus...it's good for ten years, isn't tied to an address, and is all handled direct through the US Postal Service or State Department by appointment.
ReplyDeleteWe all know how trustworthy and efficient the US Postal System and the State Department are. I'd much rather deal with my local Motor Vehicle Department for a task that I have to do there every 4 years anyway.
DeleteFly? I have a fly swatter to get rid of flies. I need ID now to swat flies?
ReplyDeleteUp next: E-verify.
ReplyDeleteWas told will also need real ID to get into federal buildings.
ReplyDeleteto that I say fuck you! seems wetbacks get to fly just fine
ReplyDeleteI got my real ID last renewal. The list of documents required was the same list of documents that I provided in 2012 when I moved to TN. I even asked last year and they said: Yes same documents, just this time the data was reported to the Feds as well as the state data base. I don't see all the hub bub. And, yes, the TN driver's license bureau is as inept and full of entitled bureaucrats as any other DMV I have ever dealt with.
ReplyDeleteDoes that mean they want stars on thars?
ReplyDeleteI made a sneetch comment way back when I got my star.
DeleteDriving license? This rule has been introduced by people who do not like being in the same metal tube as squalling infants for hours.
ReplyDeleteIt's always bothered me that my identification is required to fly domestically. Here's my damn ticket, let me on the plane.
