Commentary: Governor Hobbs’ ESA Proposal Unacceptable for Arizona Families

More than 80,000 Arizona families are happily using Arizona’s Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA) program. It’s unfortunate that these families live in constant frustration with Governor Hobbs and her constant attacks on the ESA program. As the newly elected Speaker of the Arizona House of Representatives, let me be clear: none of Governor Hobbs’ plans for the ESA program will come to fruition.

  1. If you're so fecking interested in stamping out fraud, start with the disgrace that is Maricopa County. They STOLE 2 elections from Kari Lake.

  2. There are three problems: First the teachers unions want more money so they can hire more teachers and pay higher salaries. Second the money paid to parents for alternative schools is not carefully monitored and controlled so there is some fraud going on which may bring down the entire program. Third, the schools simply aren't doing a good job and many of the teachers are not competent to teach. Fix THAT and the problem would go away.
