Given the perfect placement of the cameras and the fairly high quality video, I would wager that was a test by NFPA or ASTM or Underwriters Laboratories or Factory Mutual -
Back in 06 the manufacturing floor of a company I worked at an O2 tank was dropped and it took off along the floor. It took out a couple of workstations before it went through a cinderblock wall and into the lead engineers Suburban. It went through the grill and radiator, through the intake lodging in the fire wall and dash while pushing the truck back about 20 feet. Nobody got hurt and the company bought a new Suburban to keep from getting insurance involved.
Why have I seen similar videos where the non-ABS motorcycle stops in a much shorter distance on a wet skidpad than the ABS equipped model? I haven't been on a motorcycle in 48 years and they didn't have ABS then.
#4 I saw an oxygen tank fall off a fork truck, knocked the valve off, went through 2 cinder block walls & embedded in the side of boat sitting 40yrds away. 2000 psi coming out of a 1inch hole ain't nothing to play with.
#1 - My son got me a similar spread loaders a few years back. Works well as long as you have the flat space to work with. Calibrated for 10/20/30 rounds of 223/5.55, 5.45, and 7.62. Also suppose to work with 300 BLK, 6.5 Grendel, and a few others! AR, AK, and Mini14 mags. Made in Ukraine!!!
#4: When I was 4 or 5, at a cub scouts or whatever the hell it was called event at a local school gym, somebody knocked over a SCUBA tank. The (valve?) popped off and it got launched right through an exterior metal door. Would have really hurt someone if aimed a different way. I don't remember much about that time of my life, but that is etched in my memory. #6: This will never not make me laugh. #7: I'm old enough to remember when you sometimes had to figure out yourself how to not lock up your brakes. #8: Blue city living.

ReplyDelete1. I remember when those started taking off and you’d find them made from wood and selling at gun shows for $50. Wish I’d bought one then.
