If he hit the rotorhead hard enough the transmission will have been torn out of its mounting points on top of the cabin structure. That would be VERY expensive to fix, might be a write-off. Al_in_Ottawa
#4. Had similar in Vermont, but during the winter. A snowplow had graded the snow over the ditch so you didn't even know it was there! #10. At least he stopped before he chopped off the tail!
#9 Had the end of the axle spindle break off on a VW Beetle where the speedometer cable fed thru. I was 50 miles from nowhere and it was at night and before cell phones. No way to jury rig that.
