The announcement came about 15 minutes before Donald Trump was sworn in as the 47th president of the United States. The statement came out as Biden and Trump stood in the Capitol rotunda, waiting for the president-elect to take the oath of office.
Talk's cheap, motherfucker.
I want to say I couldn't believe it. But with crooked Joe, I believe just about anything.
ReplyDeleteI doubt he even knows. I serious doubt that by his own hand did he sign it.
DeleteHe did miss pardoning his own bribery back when he was veep.
ReplyDelete-lg
This will for all time be a shining example of the criminally corrupt cabal.
ReplyDeleteIf at any time should anyone doubt the criminality of the last four years, they need only be shown this pardon.
I, Biden, hereby pardon
This Biden
That Biden
The other Biden
Another Biden
Yet Another Biden
And Any Other Biden
“My word as a Biden”
DeleteFWIW I don't think it's any more valid than the body double proclaiming the ERA as the 28th Amendment. Unless I missed something, a pardon is for someone who has committed a crime.
ReplyDeleteThese people haven't been convicted.
Yet.
Joe and family, are not exempt from RICO charges...
ReplyDeleteSeems a little weird to pardon criminals that hasn't been charged with anything..
ReplyDeleteCommunist deserves NO pardons, they deserve a rope and tree
JD
In Burdick v. United States (1915), the Supreme Court ruled that a pardon implies guilt and accepting a pardon may be an admission of guilt.
DeleteDamn it!
ReplyDeleteIf you're NOT a criminal you DO NOT need a pardon.
BiteMe forgot one family member that actually deserves a pardon: Commander
ReplyDeleteBiden man speak with forked tongue.
ReplyDeleteHe forgot the dog!
ReplyDeleteChutes Magoo
Both dogs...it wasn't just the one that was a biter.
DeleteYou have to be careful with the dogs. Look what happened to Kristi Noem.
Deletepedojoepeters46 didn’t pardon…..dr jill.

I believe pardons only apply to Federal Charges. I suppose some State Attorney Generals could bring changes at the state level.
ReplyDeleteArticle 2, Section 2, Clause 1: "The President ... shall have Power to grant Reprieves and Pardons for Offenses against the United States, except in Cases of impeachment."
ReplyDeleteI think one could make a pretty good case that these pardons are unconstitutional. One may have been thought to have committed an offense against the US but until it has been proven in a court of law, the party is innocent. Until the "offenses" have been proven, the people Biden pardoned were already innocent and therefore, a pardon is not applicable. It seems to me the "offense" must be proven in a court of law before it can be pardoned. To pardon someone for "offenses" they may have committed, is likely contrary to the spirit of this constitutional provision. The way the Article was written in the Constitution implies that it is something that happens after the fact (after a conviction). Perhaps there is some record of the ideas behind pardons in the writings of the founders.
Wouldn't that be great if the Supreme Court ruled these pardons unconstitutional and then some of these bastards are prosecuted and go to jail anyway!
We must thank old joe for providing a list of those who need to be prosecuted. Saves a lot of time and trouble. Now arrest them all, thro them into solitary while they await their day at the gallows. Or court. Whichever. OutOfTime
ReplyDeleteMost of these career criminals will re-offend in the near future. We’ll get them then.
