That was murder of a political enemy by the regime. Legal murder at this point... maybe there will be justice later for the man doing the deed, but I'll bet the people he worked for get to keep on cruising thru life.
Ken, Welcome back. I just read that you are ready to hang up your blog. Always know that the good you have done to help many of us get through each day has been something important. I don't blame you for being ready to move on. I have at one time or another considered starting a blog of my own, just to stop taking over the blogs of people like you. I just couldn't see how much of my thoughts would interest many other people. If you do hang it up, can you please give us a week or so, to get mentally ready, and to gush over how much you have meant to us. Oh, and of course to find and post the picture of you in a miniskirt to raise money to Kick Cancer With Kilts. Of all the things you have done over the years to raise money for the many individuals who had experienced unusual needs. There is no doubt in my mind that you belong in a special Blog Hall of Fame, if one existed. When you finally retire for the last time, also know that you raised awareness of the things that mattered in the Greatest Nation on Earth, and got many people who no doubt were not active in politics who had been apathetic to get involved and informed. That is no doubt the Founding Fathers (and Mothers), meant for us to actually BE the government and the it's constant watchdogs to keep them in line. Above all, I send my love and respect, as well as thanks and best wishes to you and your lovely bride, Ms. Lisa, because I know that it never could have been the success it has been without her strong support. I wish you both nothing but the best, and if I am ever going to be in your area, it would be a huge honor if I could take you both to lunch. While I have gotten to know you both from your blogs, the greatest honor of my life would be to actually meet you both. Make sure that you get time for fishing, shooting, and above all, to work on that book. Your many fans would certainly have some influence on getting you a management team and a good and proper publisher. Again, I understand why you are ready to hang it up, and will hold your choice in prayer, that you will know the right time to pull.the pin on your blog. With all respect and heartfelt affection to you and your lovely bride, I bid you safe travels and following winds. Be well and prosper. Pigpen51, aka Tim Kies of Muskegon, Michigan.
