Remember, kids - Look before you jump

MANTECA, Calif. — A man was fatally hit by a truck after intentionally ramming his car in a police car Wednesday morning in Manteca, officials said. The San Joaquin County Medical Examiner's Office later identified the man as 31-year-old Thomas Michael Sousa II, who appears to have been unhoused.

      Another example of language that is supposed to be emphatic, but only obscures reality. Homeless should have been used.

    I'm on board with calling unhoused, BS and there was obviously a reason he was unhoused. MMHGA. Make Mental Hospitals Great Again. In a small city of 22K near me they are having some homeless problems and are going to great lengths to accommodate them rather than getting them treatment and putting them on the path to recovery. Sad how the language police take so many terms and make them garbage instead of saying what they really mean.

    And they still call them illegal migrants, when in fact, they are illegal aliens. I'm so fucking tired of having to insert correct grammer in all the articles I read.
