(KTLA) – You know what they say — drunk words are sober thoughts.
That much rang true for one driver just after midnight on New Year’s, when a man was pulled over in Southern California and accidentally gave an admission to an officer.
Anything you say before you are actually arrested can, and will, be used against. Your Miranda rights don't begin until they actually arrest you. That's why all the YouTube lawyers I watch tell you don't say anything even before they arrest you. You can trust my opinion. I got it from YouTube.
If he wasn't read his Miranda rights that admission could be tossed.

DeletePretty sure there was bodycam of the sobriety test, breathalyzer, and/or blood test. Judge won't care about a slurred admission.
