Yeah well, California's Central Valley's just one big dump anyway

Illegal dumping in Sacramento's south Natomas has neighbors frustrated and disgusted after they woke up Tuesday to garbage lining their street.

It happened on Edmonton and Iberian drives at around 6:15 a.m.

"I just woke up and it was a snow, a sea of trash," said Devin Flores, who lives near the street turned dump. "It was like snow almost."

  1. Why don't they just burn their trash like they do in LA? (is it too soon?)

  3. Kenny…as I write this I am on Amtrak going from Martinez to Sacto, a daily commute. The mountains of debris from illegal dumping or encampments is staggering along the tracks. CA is truly in a state of decay that most people refuse to acknowledge much less see. We are a culture in serious decline. Slowly, then all of a sudden. Legio XIX

    1. My sister-in-law lives in Ceres and she says it's really bad in town and along the freeway medians.

  4. The dump fees must have gone up or someone is really unhappy with that neighborhood.

  5. I went to the site to possibly see pictures. The site is so full of ads and pop-ups that it is impossible to read or search for videos. I do understand the greed to make money but it is so bad that it is unusable.

    1. The video's right above the story. I had to sit through a 20 second ad before the video came on.
